In Tabbed-Page-Mode: Ctrl-Shift-O defaults to opening/closing the bottom view. In IDEAl Mode: Alt-L, Alt-B, Alt-R open and close the left, bottom, and right panes. These are configurable in Settings->Configure Shortcuts Unless you meant something else? :) Subject: Re: Needs a keyboard shortcut to hide/show messages/konsole/etc/ pane on bottom of interface There's a possibility that I am blind, retarded, or just plain defective. I tried this and it didn't work, and then noticed the little "dot" box in the upper right (next to the "triangle") was depressed. I clicked it and tried alt-u and behold, it works. Thank you! Perhaps it always did... beats me. But, might I suggest, a comprehensive user interface manual? I'm no newbie, and this little bit stumped me. Something with comprehensive explanations of how do do x, y, z and so on, complete with screenshots and quicky tutorials. Anyway, between trying to balance bug fixes and get gideon released it's not coming as fast as it could. I hope to address it before the final release, though. :) |
