Description Jean-D. Ackle 2002-12-17 19:46:56 UTC
Version:           3.0.3 (using KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-16mdk

1. Working as root;
2. Suppose you have a directory with sub directries and other files in it (in my particular case, it was a hidden directory, i.e. starting with a dot);
3. Rightclicking that starting directory, choosing Properties, Permissions tab, changing User Ownership, with the "Apply changes to all sub-diretories and its content" option-box checked;
4. RESULT: the ownership of the files in the main directory is changed, but not the onwership of the sub-directories in that main directory.
Comment 1 Jean-D. Ackle 2003-03-22 22:07:15 UTC
I think it was resolved on version 3.0.5a.
