I have learned that every hidden file in the home directory crashes if you go down a level or two and try to open a directory. Obviously a local problem but whats causing it? I've got probably the same problem, but I can provide little more information: the crash only occurs when the dirtree in the left is open, using only detailed view when chaging directory works. Ans it seems to happen with all hidden directories not only in the /home/... I have learned that installing on anything but an absolutly blank drive introduces corruption, on my machine at least. A low level format and re-install corrected this and many other problems. This isnb't fixed yet, but hopefully will be in the next few days. (Just need to decide which patch is better) *** Bug 52826 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 44939 *** |
