using the Kopete CVS, I can't register services, I click register on a service and all it displays is a Window with one text field. You have to query the server in order to get a list of services for which you can register. The server is prefilled, just click the button. However, I agree that this dialog needs a bit of work. Just wanted to submit the same request/wish/bug. I'm, using kopete 0.71 and this is not there yet. I used other IMs, having this functionality and it seems very natural that this function is there! When I say 'a window' I meant the jabber services window accessed by right clicking in the jabber icon. Just in case someone didn't understand it. I'm trying to reimplement this whole dialog as a kio slave that will be accessed from konqueror to make a jabber services browser with lots of nice features and coherency across desktop. The initial development is going to be located on kdenonbeta/jabberservices and the initial name for the kioslave will be jabberservices:// *** Bug 112951 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 102422 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This bug's a bit outdated... (In reply to comment #8) > This bug's a bit outdated... it is. Now more than ever. Should maybe closed Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
