Description David Bishop 2002-12-12 16:32:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When noatun changes songs, it pops up a "Passive Popup" thingy showing the Artist and Songtitle of the new song. However, it also obscures everything to the left of the noatun systray icon, including my mixer. So when a new song comes up that is way too loud (it happens quite frequently, unfortunetly), I am unable to "turn it down" for several seconds. Obviously this isn't the end of the world, but I would appreciate a way of turning off those popups, completely. If I want to know the song title, I can hover over it, and use the "old" popup (that *doesn't* obscure anything else).

Thanks!

Then open the configuration dialog, go to the Young Hickory page and uncheck
the "Announce tracks with a popup window" checkbox.

Alternatively, you can use the volume slider in the noatun main window or the
shortcuts Ctrl-Alt-Shift-[Up/Down] to control the volume.
