STEPS
1. Open the app "Emoji Selector"
2. Type "ice"

RESULT
- It only shows the results for the first tab (latest), instead for all emoji.

What version is this? Here when I start typing on the Recent tab, it switches to All. In general the search searches for the current category, though.

for me too, though it also only switches after I type two characters

This is Plasma version 6.5.5.

For me it changes tab after typing X characters. But the quantity seems to vary:
- "ice": 4
- "ba": 2
