The thumbnail extraction for some *.exe files produces garbled thumbnails, namely for Fallout4.exe, SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimVR.exe (all are from Bethesda games). While 7zip can correctly extract the icons, there are two sets of them: one containing placeholders and a correct one. Other software like icoextract (https://github.com/jlu5/icoextract) only extracts the placeholders.
Interestingly the thumbnail for SkyrimVR.exe that ends up in ~/.cache/thumbnails/x-large/ appears to be fine.

I can't add the executables as attachments because they are around 30-50 MiB each.
