SUMMARY Folders in the location bar menus (or when navigating through them using the scroll wheel) seem to use a different sorting algorithm compared to the Tree Panel or Folder panels. The main difference I found is in handling of dots (".") and minuses ("-"), where dots are sorted first in Tree and Folder panels but the minus comes first in the location bar, see attached image. There is a chance of there being more discrepancies, this is the one I ran into. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. See attached image OBSERVED RESULT Sort order differs. EXPECTED RESULT Sort order should be the same.
