SUMMARY
I'm reporting both issues on the same report. It's driving me insane. Please look into this, thanks!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open big project
2. Select anything in the timeline (this should take you to the listed effects menu instead of moving the clip in timeline
3. Exit the listed effects menu and go back to the timeline

OBSERVED RESULT
Laggy playback, And nothing moves when dragged. Crashes often. 

EXPECTED RESULT
The exact opposite!
