SUMMARY
After updating from V 25.8.0 to 25.12.2 0GUI does not save and / or reload splitter position between preview and time line.
Also position and size of outdocked windows are not remembered.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Start kdenlive
2.  Make changes, set splitter position and pos / size of ourdocked windows
3.  Close kdenlive
4.  Start kdenlive again

OBSERVED RESULT
All changes made in point 2 are lost

EXPECTED RESULT
Show in point 4 the same GUI as it was before closing (point 3)

Since release 25.12 the layout is saved as part of the .kdenlive project file. If you want to preserve a layout as your default even for new projects, you need to save it via Menu > View > Save Layout.
