SUMMARY
Seems like the Quick Search is limited to the current year.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the interface
2. Try to search for an email from last year in the Quick search bar
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
The returned list only contain entries from the current year

EXPECTED RESULT
Return emails from at least one full year back, preferrably from a configurable number of years. I would be happy to search all available. I can wait for some seconds.

This is a disturbing REGRESSION to earlier behaviour

Found a possible reason: If you have the Subjects folded into months there will be no search results from those months. Not really a good way to search...
