A feature I would really like to have is a setting to stop showing the persistent notification for KDE Connect that says "Not connected to any device" or "Connected to <device>". When I dismiss it, it reappears when I turn off my phone and it displaces other notifications from the lock screen. I would very much appreciate it if you guys implemented this feature!

This is not possible: background apps need to create a persistent notification on Android. You can however, configure the notification to not show from the Android app settings -> notifications -> persistent indicator.

Are you sure? Maybe it's just a One UI thing, but I have other background apps (Automate, Modes and Routines) whose background notifications I can dismiss.

In theory you shouldn't even be able to dismiss it, so definitely something One UI-specific going on here. Maybe those other apps do something different than us, but we follow Android's guidelines.
