SUMMARY
When selecting multiple items and trying to rename them, it is impossible to append text after the file extension, no matter which method one selects for "How to rename:".

I would suggest some checkbox to allow this.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select at least two items.
2. F2 (or Rightclick -> Rename)
3. You can't add text after the file extension.

OBSERVED RESULT
You can't add text after the file extension.

EXPECTED RESULT
Be able to add text after the file extension.
