Description Jesper Juhl 2002-12-05 00:55:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux

If I open the main KGet window and click the "Drop Target" button to display the drop target, then move the drop target to some new location on the screen and hide the drop target and then redisplay it, it then often re-appears in a different position from the one it was at when it was hidden.
It would be nice if the drop target would re-appear at the same location it was hidden, so you don't have to keep moving it to your favorite location on the screen every time you enable it.
There's one situation where auto-placing the drop target at a new location is OK, and that's if you place the drop target somewhere and then change to a lower screen resolution so that re-placing the drop target at the same location would put it outside the screen area.
Maybe this could/should be an option, like "Remember drop target location" ?

This appears to have been added/fixed in 3.3.0
