it might be an issue when the launcher gets removed and replaced with the actual task, in that case the tooltip which has only one instance loses the parent and gets positioned relative to the entire taskbar as visualparent. the tooltip should probably disappear in that case and it's what it's happening on horizontal panels. This caused the task to be briefly too tall before its height was then limited by the gridlayout. sometimes this in turn caused the taskbar tooltip appear on the wrong place if the tooltip was shown right in the moment the task has wrong height. OBSERVED RESULT With some apps, like Firefox and KDEnlive, the window preview appears in the wrong place. EXPECTED RESULT The should appear on next to the app's icon.
