SUMMARY When set the device name in kde connect on microsoft windows, such as Chinese, it can be shown in windows as usual, but in android it will shows like garbled characters. It seems using ISO8859-1 decode a UTF-8 encoded Chinese character. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set Windows device name to something chinese in kde connect 2. Windows device name will show garbled characters on Andriod OBSERVED RESULT device name shows garbled characters EXPECTED RESULT shows like it been set in windows SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: KDE Connect: 25.12.1 Windows 11 Version 23H2 KDE 程序框架: 6.22.0 Qt: 使用 6.10.1,用 6.10.1 构建。 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Kernel: winnt 10.0.22631 Android: 1.34.4 form Google Play Store ADDITIONAL INFORMATION attachment is the screenshot of android side.
