Description Lucia Mrenica 2026-01-17 11:16:22 UTC
On sddm I would be able to pick my user, enter my password and it would log me in. On the new log in screen my user is not visible. I have to use the option other user, enter my username and password and then it would log me in no problem.
I have two systems one of them works fine one of them doesn't. Both run the same version of Arch Linux, Plasma, the new login screen and everything.
I am assuming there might be something with how my user was created or something.
Also on the login screen settings screen where you can set up auto log in and other settings, it doesn't show my username as one of the options. This might be related to systemd-homed.

Are you using systemd's homed on one of them?

Yes, the one where it doesn't work.
