Very simply, we should have the ability to re-order and move tracks up and down as we see necessary. Coming from Vegas Pro, I find myself trying to move the tracks and they don't move, and it sucks =(

I'm interested in contributed this bug as a beginner. I can try a patch to enable reordering tracks in the timeline.

Simran, that would be awesome if you could do it. I was surprised to see just how advanced Kdenlive is, and even more surprised that such a basic feature is missing.
