Setup: 
1 Manjaro Linux (main Intel iNuc pc) with KDE Connect
1 phone (Samsung Galaxy S8 with e/OS/, android 12, with KDE Connect
1 Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, SM-T505 LTE, with e/OS/, android 15

Purpose: interconnection betwee the 3 devices.
Installed 03rd Jan 2026; devices intermittently see each other, then they dont:
Manjaro; no problem; continuous ok, A7 Tab; needs mdns, then ok. If not, intermittently connection
Phone S8; no problem; continuous ok.

Summary
A7 e/OS/ 'unofficial' e/OS/ build; needs mdns for continuous connections
S8 e/OS/ 'Official' e/OS/ build; no problems there
Manjaro; linux pc; no connection problems.

Reason for ticket; during install I got the message that IF mdns was needed, I needed to issue a ticket.

Checked again; both the Samsung S8 (e/OS/ Official build) and also the Samsung Galaxy A7 Tablet (e/OS/ Community build) have mdns active!! I thought the S8 could manage without mdns... So both e/OS/ devices DO need mdns; it works nicely now, I'd hate to see you take mdns away...
