SUMMARY
While writing this I found a way to reproduce the crash unrelated to the bluetooth connection/full black screen issue. So this is just regarding plasmashell not coming back, you can ignore the following.

(I tried to connect to my speakers. I had an issue with Bluetooth showing connection but no playback of audio, and no connection indicating sound of my speakers, when I clicked on the bluetooth icon in the panel, plasma restarted. After disconnecting from speakers once more, I clicked on connect and quickly went into Firefox to play a video, now plasmashell is just gone. Programs still display and I can switch between with meta + tab, Ctrl alt del works. Was gone for a few minutes after that, system went into lock, now my whole screen is black(yes its getting an input) even Ctrl alt del doesn’t work anymore. Cursor only shows if it enlarges when trying to find it. Used Ctrl alt f3 and saved logs before shutting down.)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Be in program window
2. Click bluetooth widget on panel
3. Click back into program window
4. Click bluetooth widget on panel again

OBSERVED RESULT
plasmashell crashes and does not return

EXPECTED RESULT
I should be able to keep switching between both

Unfortunately the attached file contains no information.

I'm sure we'll pick up a better trace from the automated crash reporting mechanism

OK First of all I have a better description:
1. Click on any widget on the panel
2. Dont close the widget by clicking on it again, but
3. Click into a window of a program
4. Click on any widget again
5. Plasmashell crashes
