Description pimpelmeesje 2026-01-03 19:46:34 UTC
When adding video in project bin.
With proxyclips enabled and random coding-profile.
I get this error-message:

[vp9_cuvid @ 0x6088f7443040] Codec vp9_cuvid is not supported.
[vist#0:0/vp9 @ 0x6088f7418d40] Error while opening decoder: Invalid argument
[vost#0:0/h264_nvenc @ 0x6088f746b300] Error initializing a simple filtergraph
Error opening output file /home/xxxxxx/.cache/kdenlive/proxy/652486ab916e08e32fd903c9e5631ab8.mov.
Error opening output files: Invalid argument

Video-codec of imported video in project-bin is VP9 .
Can play with ffplay
Can play with melt
without proxy-clips enabled it is possible to edit and export(mp4-h264) video successfully.

edit: it's only with specific codec. Changing coding-profile won't be active, even after clicking "apply".
For the new selected coding-profile to be active, a restart of kdenlive is necessary.
