I'm unable to reproduce. Can you upgrade your kde frameworks version to see if it's related to an old version? Also maybe share your video card information. I get some "distinct" errors with my nvidia 4060 that I didn't get with my old amd card. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.18.3-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.4 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Manufacturer: ASUS This sounds very bad. Some questions: 1. What kind of GPU hardware is present on this system? 2. If you blindly enter your password and press Enter, does it unlock? As in, it is a purely visual issue with the UI not rendering, but it still functionally works? 3. Does anything change if you have only one monitor connected? 4. Does anything change if you try in a new clean user account on the same computer? Either with all monitors, or only one? |
