It would be really nice to add scroll lock to the list of available indicators. My current laptop doesn't have a physical scroll lock indicator, so it would be very welcome.

We can do. We provide the information in the backend already.

Out of curiosity (and for managing priority) what do you use  that uses scroll lock? I was of the impression it was obsolete.

The VT consoles still support it. They literally lock scrolling the output buffer, which can be useful when debugging anything spamming the VT. This is outside of KDE, though. On the desktop, tbh I don't have a use for it - yet. I'm getting into macro programming with keyd and similar tools which could use it for a macro layer (my keyboard doesn't even have the key, I had to create a macro to toggle it). Also, terminal emulators can likely be scripted to honor it like VT does (sending ^Q and ^S when toggled).

So for most users the key really is obsolete, which is also what Lenovo noticed and removed it entirely from ThinkPads. Now I feel old in addition to my keyboard lacking a key ...
