Preview of an emptied filtering list

SUMMARY
The preview of the last item rejected from a given filtered list (Label=Pending as example) by switching out the filtering condition (turning Label "Pending" to "Rejected" by example) is still displayed, even if the list is emptied.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open the main album view/Preview mode
2. tag one item as "Pending" (or all others criteria)
3. Right Sidebar/Filter/Label="Pending" (or all others criterias)
=> Previw of the tagged item is displayed ...
4. turn Label of this item to "Rejected" (or all others criterias)

OBSERVED RESULT
The list of filtered items is emptied as expected, but the preview continue to display the last rejected item
NB : the preview disappear as expected for previous rejected items than the last one

EXPECTED RESULT
Preview should be emptied as soon as the filteriing list is it too...

The filter applies to the current album. If you preview an item and the filter changes, the preview remains. The preview always refers to the last selected item. I personally don't like the idea of displaying an "empty" preview or automatically reverting to the icon view.

Just to highlight : changing the filtered tag of a preview item make the preview item disappear and not remain (as you wrote).... but only if it's not the last item of the selection.
The rule seems to display the next coming item, except if there is no one.
And it's understandable.
