Description Simon 2025-12-30 23:59:04 UTC
SUMMARY

I assigned "Delete" to actually delete the file instead of moving into Trash for policy & security reason. This works on Dolphin explorer, however, your desktop UI does not honor this settings at all.

When I select a files on Desktop (not on Dolphin but actual desktop) and hit "Delete" keyboard button, your software simply moved the file to the Trash which is I do not want.

I checked "Desktop Folder Settings" but there is no Keybord shortcut config at all.

- cc: `Folder View` by Eike Hein

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create some files on desktop
2. Select them
3. Hit Delete key

OBSERVED RESULT
Those are moved to Trash instead of deleting them.

EXPECTED RESULT
I want to delete them, just like I can do this on Windows!
