Description Kutay 2025-12-27 12:12:48 UTC
SUMMARY
Num Lock state becomes desynchronized on login screen if toggled during GRUB boot

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot the system
2. At the GRUB boot menu, press the Num Lock key
3. Continue booting normally
4. Reach the login screen
5. Try using the numeric keypad

OBSERVED RESULT
Num Lock appears to be enabled on the login screen, but numeric keypad input
does not work as expected. To correctly enable it, the Num Lock key must be
pressed twice while it is already visually enabled.

EXPECTED RESULT
Num Lock state should be correctly preserved from boot to login screen, and
numeric keypad input should work immediately without requiring extra toggles.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: (distro adın)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Bootloader: GRUB
- Display manager: Plasma login manager
