Okay the behavior is even weirder now. When I switch the time "On Battery" after disabling inactive on battery the warning disappears completely. Also when opening the KCM again the warning does not show at all. I'm not sure if this is intended behavior. I thought it must always be shown because of the regulations. See the second video
I just noticed you can also see a Spectacle bug in my recordings. I don't know if this is known yet, but it records the dimensions tooltip. Created attachment 187868 [details] Screen recording showing the warning even when it's not disabled SUMMARY When setting inactive suspend session to do nothing on AC Power it should now show the warning in the other tabs (On Battery / On Low Battery) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a battery powered device and open the KCM 2. Set on the tab "On AC Power" under "Suspend Session" the "When inactive" setting to "Do nothing" 3. Switch to another tab OBSERVED RESULT It shows the warning "Disabling automatic suspend will result in higher energy consumption." EXPECTED RESULT Should not show the warning as it is actually not disabled for that profile. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.61-1-lts (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 36 GiB of RAM (33.2 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I think this was the warning that was implemented because of EU regulations. I'm not sure if it this is actually required by law but I find it confusing seeing that warning on other tabs.
