SUMMARY
KDE Connect does not work on any of my Android devices without enabling MDNS Discovery in the settings.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Attempt Discovery without MDNS

OBSERVED RESULT

No devices found until enabling MDNS discovery. The affected devices include a Pixel 6 Pro, a Pixel 6a, and a MediaTek Tablet.
EXPECTED RESULT
Devices should show on the list.

I think the developers should just switch to Avahi as there are lots of this kind of bug reports here.

MDNS discovery was removed in 25.12, since it was causing conflicts with Avahi. We will change the implementation (so it makes use of Avahi instead) and add it again in the next version.
