Here is another original photo with a red rectangle in the middle.
You have enabled the display of focus points in the right-click context menu. This is not a bug, but a feature. And yes, this feature has been around for a while... Maik The focus point of the Canon PowerShot is not displayed correctly in your sample image; I will fix this later. Maik Hmm, I didn't intentionally click on that. But I've now learned that some camera models can save the focus points. Andy, Can you share your Canon Powershot picture fro Maik investigation about to fix the focus point support for this camera ? Gilles Caulier Yes, I can do that. Is the original photo attached here not working for the analysis? Ah yes the "rectangles2.jpg". I do not seen that. sorry... Gilles Caulier I tested additional sample images from the web. This image was taken in 16:9 mode, but some focus point values are so far off that I'd like to use a sample straight from the camera, without any editing.
