SUMMARY
KRunner shows up in the center of the screen, instead of top
https://i.imgur.com/jww53yb.jpeg

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Not sure when the bug occurs, but I suspect it's a dual monitor setup issue. When it moves to the center it refuses to go on the top of the screen until logout/login.

OBSERVED RESULT
KRunner starts in the middle of the screen, instead of top of the screen, even taught the option 'top' is selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
To show at the top of the screen when this option is selected.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 43 KDE Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dual monitor setup:
Main 27' Acer 180hz
Secondary 16' Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Built-in 165hz

Can you attach a screenshot of your screen arrangement?

Does it ever happen when there is only one screen?

I use a single screen very rarely and I haven't noticed this issue when I do. I cannot confirm 100%.

Thanks! If you change the arrangement so the right screen shares its top alignment with the left screen, does the problem go away?

Thanks again. When this happens, can you paste the output of `kscreen-doctor -o`?
