Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.9)
Compiler:          gcc-2.95.3 
OS:          Linux

happens in gideon alpha 21. Copy some lines from the "messages" output window.2. Paste into kate.3. Line-breaks are gone.This behaviour makes reporting errors about the buildprocess more difficult, for you can't simply copy and paste the output.

whoops... that explains a lot. Which Qt version are you using?

I'm using QT 3.10-rc3.
