SUMMARY
I noticed painting artifact while changing zoom.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open konsole
1. su to another user / seems to happen also with a normal session
1. launch dolphin
1. open an icon view
1. zoom

OBSERVED RESULT
Icon view shows painting artifact

I can reproduce it using a normal session.

It happens at small zoom, text icons show artifacts (something like a wavy copy of a subpart of the frame buffer) until we move the mouse.
The zooming speed is irrelevant, only a small zoom matters.

Also, it looks like we need a debouncing, zoom event can be too fast for rendering.
