Description goo 2025-12-02 23:49:31 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy some clipboard text
3. reopen the clipboard widget without selecting other entries
4. just select the same copied text again or simply do nothing

OBSERVED RESULT

Copied text is not pasted until you select another clipboard entry and then the previous copied entry again. This doesn't happens always but much of the time lately. I can reproduce the same behavior on two Fedora 43 PCs running Plasma 6.5.3.
That made me lost an entire day of work thinking that I was doing something wrong generating and subsequently testing some user passwords!

EXPECTED RESULT
Copied entry is always pasted.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19
Qt Version: 6.10.1

Sorry, on point 1 I meant "copy some text to the clipboard", not "copy some clipboard text"
