I think this is a KDDM issue, but I don't know how to set the Product to the 'KDDM' category. Here is the information on the KDE Linux that reproduces this problem. KDE Linux 2025-11-23 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 Kernel version 6.17.8-arch1-1 Graphis Platform: Wayland. Created attachment 187137 [details] During the password input. Just before the first ENTER key. SUMMARY KDDM requires the ENTER key twice when resuming with a dual monitor. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect the external monitor. 2. Sleep the system. 3. Resume the system. OBSERVED RESULT At first, the typed password is shown only for one of the monitors. After typing the Enter key, the other monitor shows the password. And then, secondly, typing the ENTER key let the customer log in. EXPECTED RESULT By the first ENTER key, the system should let the user log in. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 25.10 with KDE Plasma 6.5 backport. KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Not only Kubuntu but also KDE Linux has this behavior.
