That is very strange and seems to be caused by your specific environment. In general, the reconciliation date, cleared and balance information is always visible. Can you check if you can duplicate the reported behavior using an AppImage from https://kmymoney.org/appimage.html on your system? Hi Thomas, I am running the latest AppImage (kmymoney-5.2-4984-linux-gcc-x86_64.AppImage). There is no displaying of the reconciliation date, cleared and balance information until I do the CTRL-F command and then they appear. I did downloaded and installed KMyMoney (5.2.1) with the sudo dnf install kmymoney command and it displays the reconciliation date, cleared and balance information correctly as i should when I look at the ledger and CTRL-F command works correctly and opens the ability to filter the ledger accordingly. I should have looked at this but when I go back and run the AppImage version the reconciliation date, cleared and balance information correctly as it should when I look at the ledger and CTRL-F command works correctly and opens the ability to filter the ledger. I also uninstalled the downloaded version I installed and restarted my computer and everything works as defined above. Let's call it a false alert then. Ok it came back again this morning but I was able to figure out where the problem is being caused. With the KMyMoney AppImage I have set it up to automatically startup when logging in/starting up the computer by using Gnome tweaks. When KMyMoney starts this way there must be something that isn't loading in Fedora before KMyMoney starts that's needed. The reason I'm saying this is because if I shut KMyMoney down and restart it the last reconcilation date, cleared and balance information fields appears and if I use the CTRL-F function the box opens. My ultimate solution was I set KMyMoney's start to a delay of 15 seconds at OS start and everything appears to work just fine. |
