SUMMARY
https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/shape_edit.html

About the Shape Edit Tool: Typically, a Krita user is able to add nodes/handles to a selection by using a keyboard shortcut. However, an Android user without a keyboard is unable to do this. There needs to be an on-screen button somewhere, such as the Tool Options docker while Shape Edit Tool is active, that allows the user to switch between node selection modes, such as "Replace Selection," "Add Selection"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Android tablets without a keyboard
All Krita versions as of November 21, 2025
