Description elman 2025-11-19 23:13:30 UTC
SUMMARY
When I open an GTK app, it uses different font than what is configured in KCM. It seems it's using default GTK font. I think it started with 6.5.2, but I'm not quite sure of that. I have tested it with Firefox (package), Thunderbird (package), SSH Pilot (flatpak).

gsettings correctly reports my changed font:

❯ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface font-name
'Fira Sans Condensed 11'

❯ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface monospace-font-name
'JetBrainsMono Nerd Font 11'

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KCM and change general font to something else.
2. Open GKT app

OBSERVED RESULT
Font used in GTK app differs from what is configured in KCM.

EXPECTED RESULT
GTK apps should use the same font.
