Thanks for the bug report. Since there is more than one weather widget, can you let us know the exact name of the one you're having trouble with? Sorry, I made a few adjustments to my system and I then I finally got to try it again. The results remain the exactly same. The missing details I can add are: - QT6 is now version 6.10.1 - kwin is v6.5.2- - Name: Weather Report (Forecast and current conditions) - Author: Luis Gabriel Lima I am can see any specific information on the version of the widget itself. I meant to say "I cannot see any specific information on the version of the widget itself". Thanks for the details. I'm not able to reproduce this with the weather widget on git-master. What text are you entering into the search? I made some further adjustments to my installations so that I now have: - Plasma - 6.5.4 - KDE Apps - 25.12.0 - QT 6.10.1 It still does not matter what I type into the search field for location. It will never display any results, but the wheel will spin endlessly. It is clearly not doing anything useful - probably stuck in loop somewhere within the code. I found another weather widget, KWeather_1x4, which allows me to select a custom location (albeit with reduced location precision). This one seems to work as expected. So I have removed the original widget that was failing. I am not sure if it is worth fixing it? |
