This seems to be a Windows-specific issue. I can't reproduce the problem under Linux. I'll test it on Windows later. The problem could also be OpenGL-specific. Do you have OpenGL enabled or disabled in the digiKam settings under Miscellaneous -> System? Maik CM, Do you seen the last comment from Maik ? Currently using digiKam-8.9.0-20251112T180156-Qt6-Win64.exe digiKam: 8.9.0 KDE Frameworks: 6.17.0 Qt: Using 6.9.1 and built against 6.9.1 Windows 11 Version 25H2 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Kernel: winnt 10.0.26200 I tried to reproduce also on my Windows VM without success. Created attachment 186944 [details] Screenshot SUMMARY Running "Recognize Faces" from Right Click Menu Results in Progress Detail Window That with Unclickable Cancel Button. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go into suggested face tags, select some faces--ideally a lot so the task runs for some time. 2. Right click to run "Recognize Faces" 3. Expand the Progress Detail Window from the task bar. OBSERVED RESULT The button to cancel is not clickable. When clicked, the button under the progress detail window is clicked instead (like the Tools flyout or File Properties flyout on the right). EXPECTED RESULT Button should be functional and allow cancelation of process. digiKam: 8.9.0 KDE Frameworks: 6.17.0 Qt: Using 6.9.1 and built against 6.9.1 Windows 11 Version 25H2 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Kernel: winnt 10.0.26200
