Thanks for the file, I can reproduce a crash on my machine, seems related to an audio track being in record mode. Working on it. So the issue will be fixed in the upcoming 25.12.0 release, sorry for this bad experience. As a workaround, you can open the project file in a text editor and in line 26, replace: <property name="kdenlive:audio_rec">1</property> with: <property name="kdenlive:audio_rec">0</property> Then save and your project will open correctly. Created attachment 186938 [details] MacOS app crash details SUMMARY Kdenlive crashes when trying to load an existing project, even if it was created on the same machine. The issue still occured after installing a nightly build. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a project and save it 2. Close Kdenlive 3. Reopen the project OBSERVED RESULT Kdenlive disappears unexpectedly and the MacOS app crash dialog appears. EXPECTED RESULT The project should open normally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: Tahoe 26.1 (25B78) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The data from the MacOS crash dialog's "Show Details" button is added as an attachment.
