https://solomoncyj.fedorapeople.org/IMG_1406.mov Widget https://solomoncyj.fedorapeople.org/IMG_1407.mov keybind also another difference i noticed was that in purple mode, the fans ramp harder then in Red mode Thanks for the bug report. I'm not familiar with the details of that laptop. Can you explain more about what colors the power LED light is supposed to show and when? Also, why would there be an expectation that the light would change color with a keybind but not by changing the power plan? Thanks. This is likely a firmware issue that would be handled by Lenovo. If your laptop was pre-loaded with Fedora you can also open a ticket with them: https://smartsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/HT510811 ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED. If there is no change for at least 30 days, it will be automatically closed as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. For more information about our bug triaging procedures, please read https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! the light will cycle between blue. white and red (plugged-in only) when the key bind is pressed. the key bind seems to be a built in key bind as it works between both windows and linux, but on linux it only seems to turn purple when it is controlled by the power plan insted |
