SUMMARY
The small window preview is rather important for me as I manage a large amount of windows on various virtual desktop screens. One virtual desktop screen can have up to 20 windows and then getting the right one can be very quickly using the small window preview option, but it doesn't work and just displays a text list of the windows of that application (usually firefox for me) and it shows them from different virtual desktops too even though its supposed to only show the current one

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Setup your standard panel icon only task manager to group tasks under one icon and display small preview windows when clicking on the icon
2. Click on the icon
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
It shows a list of tasks

EXPECTED RESULT
I see rendered previews of all the task windows under that icon

Thanks for the bug report. I'm not able to reproduce this bug in Plasma built from git-master or with Plasma 6.5.3.

Can I ask you to see if the same thing happens with a brand new user? There may be an old config or cached value that's not behaving well with current code.
