Icons-and-text Task Manager Settings
Thanks for the detailed report! The screenshots and screen recording are very helpful. On Plasma built from git-master, I am able reproduce this exact behavior. moving the window on the bottom left side of the primary left display does not trigger the bug, but moving it to the lower right does |
Created attachment 186816 [details] Video showing the issue. SUMMARY I have a two monitor setup, where the second monitor is slightly lower both physically and virtually (screenshot in attachments). On both monitor I have task manager widgets set to only show tasks from current screen. When on the main monitor I try to move an application window near the bottom edge it appears on the right's monitor task manager even though the window is still on the left window. Video showing the issue in attachments. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In two monitor setup have one monitor to be set slightly lower in Plasma settings. 2. On both monitors have task manager widgets set to only show tasks from the current screen. 3. On the main screen move an application window near the bottom edge. OBSERVED RESULT Application window appears on the second monitor task manager even though it is still on the main screen. EXPECTED RESULT Properly display tasks only from the current screen in the task manager widget.
