SUMMARY
Text doesn't change on new Fedora 43 Dark Mode.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have Fedora 43 w/ KDE Plasma
2. Have everything up to date.
3. Have Amarok
4. Enable Automatic Theme in System Settings

OBSERVED RESULT
Amarok becomes unusable after twilight, or whenever Fedora 43 KDE Plasma decides to swap to Breeze Dark

EXPECTED RESULT
Text swapped to white. Background was swapped to black, why didn't the text change?

I set this as 'critical' because a bog standard system function of KDE is nuking most of an app's functionality.
Comment 2 Tuomas Nurmi 2025-11-23 10:03:55 UTC
Tested on openSUSE Tumbleweed with Plasma 6.5.3 and Frameworks 6.20.0, couldn't reproduce. Had a look at 6.5.2->.3 and 6.19->6.20 changelogs, doesn't seem to be anything relevant there, so likely something specific to distribution or your system.

Some extra info: Are you using Flatpak version of Amarok?

Looking at your screenshot, only context view seems to be affected, is that correct?

Toolbar & menu bar colours haven't changed at all, is that also correct?
