Can you backup the files '.cache/plasma_theme_*' and then delete them and report if the issue goes away. Have Breeze 6.5.2 installed and selected as the Plasma style OBSERVED RESULT There's a square in the top left corner of the selected item's highlighted background. EXPECTED RESULT No square.
