SUMMARY

The weather widget doesn't show info after resume from suspend


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Add weather widget and configure
2.  suspend
3.  resume from suspend

OBSERVED RESULT
Now the weather widget  doesn't show the weather

EXPECTED RESULT

Show the weather as before suspend

Thanks for the bug report. Since there is more than one weather widget, can you let us know the exact name of the one you added to your desktop?

If for any reason you do not have functional networking the weather widget stays broken indefinitely. I suspect the root cause is networking, not waking from suspend. There have been complaints about this going back at least 7 years, but somehow a bug was never filed and nobody on the KDE team has noticed.

One more question, before we can move onto that possibility: what weather provider are you using? Is it Environment Canada/Envcan?
