(In reply to nw1905 from comment #0) > SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS > Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (Kernel 6.17.7-arch1-1) with Hyprland > KDE Plasma Version: N/A > KDE Frameworks Version: 25.08.3 > Qt Version: 6.10.0 My bad Frameworks version is 6.19.0, and the nightly flatpak uses Qt 6.9.3. System Qt version is 6.10.0 though. |
Created attachment 186742 [details] Screenshot of extensionless mkv file opened in haruna SUMMARY When an mkv file does not have a file extension, it does not play when opened. mp4 does not have this issue. Adding (afaict) any file extension, even if it is wrong, works. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Download/find an mkv file 2. Remove the .mkv at the end 3. Open in Haruna OBSERVED RESULT See attachment. Haruna window opens, but no file is played. View is afaict the same as opening haruna without a file EXPECTED RESULT Filetype is detected automatically and file is played (like with mp4) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (Kernel 6.17.7-arch1-1) with Hyprland KDE Plasma Version: N/A KDE Frameworks Version: 25.08.3 Qt Version: 6.10.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Consistently reproducible (by me) on both release version and nightly flatpak
