Description Szőts Ákos 2025-11-12 07:33:16 UTC
Within KWalletManager:

1. Use File > Export Encrypted to back up the current key storage.
2. Close, then Delete the entire key storage
3. Import the previously backed up key storage using File > Import Encrypted.

After importing, the key storage (kdewallet) won't be visible. However, on a second attempted import the application wants to create a new one with an "_1" appended to it, so the import was somewhat successful.

The workaround is: quit KWalletManager, and killall ksecretd and kwalletd6. When newly started, KWalletManager properly shows kdewallet.
