SUMMARY

After having upgraded to Fedora 43, the first time I started Amarok it performed a mandatory database update. After that, podcast feeds are not updated anymore from their respective RSS sources.
I also tried to remove the entry and add it again, but it did not work. The new podcast feed is now empty while the corresponding rss/xml file, directly downloaded from its source, is updated and valid.
For your reference, you may try this feed: https://backr24.ilsole24ore.com/podcast/24mattino.xml

Ok, forgot to check this one out earlier, but now I did.

I tried adding https://backr24.ilsole24ore.com/podcast/24mattino.xml and got plenty of entries in the podcast feed (seem to correspond to to the xml when checking manually)

Are you still experiencing the issue?

Hello,
thank you for checking this out. It is now some time I do not see this bug anymore and I supposed it was fixed.
I however experience strange behavior in how podcast are sorted. Podcast episodes seem now to be sorted in - at least to me - undetermined sort order, whereas in the past they were properly and usefully sorted based on a descending published date order.
What about adding in the "channel configuration dialog" a sort criteria option? It could be useful to add, for example, sort options based on name and release date, for example, both in ascending and descending order.

Thank you.

Kindest regards.

Okay, thank you for confirming! Closing this one, then.

Regarding the sorting order, there seems to be a corresponding earlier report at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511036
I'll try to have a stab at that at some point perhaps.
