Search in application menus/dashboard is pretty erratic and illogical, i run wrong applications many times.

Example:

When I enter ‘c’ I see: chrashed processes viewer, calculator

when i enter “ch” : there is nothing displayed !

when I add next letter ‘r’ so “chr” : google chrome, KDE connect

why there was no chrome when I entered only “c” or “ch” ??

other example, when I enter “cod” or “code”:  Kate is on the first place! and visual studio code on the second !! WHY ?? I have to use extra arrow to select VSCode ….

when I enter “mo” I can see mouse

when I add “u”, so “mou” together: there is no mouse app anymore ! only solaar



That doesn’t make any sense !!

Thank you for the bug report!

However Plasma 6.3.5 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.

If you need help with Plasma 6.3.5, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE.

If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
